Book Review - Two by Two

It is good to write something after weeks, I guess. Life is not always easy. It test everyone in an unpredictable way. In this testing situation reading a book of this kind always feel better. I don’t know how about you, but I felt a lot better.

“We all walked two by two, so that none of us have to walk alone”

What a cache line this is! And how meaningful this is ! Story revolves around this simple two lines. We all need a support in our life, though we neglect it. We always needed it. When someone walk along with us through all our struggles. It gives us a feel that we are not alone. Someone is there for us.
This is a slow-moving novel which had the ability of pull you into the life of Russ, a middle-class family man. He faces lot of problems one by one. But he faces everything with a brave heart and overcome those problems. In spite of all these things, he still enjoys life. Life is all about that, isn’t it?
This story ultimately tries to say the readers the same thing again and again. We all need love in our life. A love of a women, A love of daughter, A love of Sister and love for our self. When we had that magical thing with us, we don’t have to walk alone. Some one will be there of us to walk hand by hand. To support us, to share our feelings, to motivate us and to feel happy for us.
“Friendship isn't about how long you know someone. It's about who walks into your life, says 'I'm here for you,' and then proves it.”
How beautiful and profound these lines are. Yes, that is friendship. It is not there in WhatsApp status and Instagram stories.
This story wonderfully portraits the love between father and daughter. When Russ brought up his daughter London with so much of love and affection. A thought automatically raises from the corner of brain. Our parents also felt the same when they brought up, don’t they? And we will also start to dream about our future also.
This story is a life of a man, we readers also live along with him.  It gives a clear-cut explanation of what is love.
It again and again tries to say the same thing. Not in a direct way though. It is, we need someone in our life. We always need Someone.

Five takeaways from the life of Gandhi

From the title itself, it is well clear that i am going to speak about nothing else than the written auto biography of Mahatma Gandhi. But we can't say it is a complete autobiography. As he and title says, it comprises of only the experiments of Gandhi with truth. Gandhi life is an ocean, no one can limit it within numbers. But I am trying to limit myself within five takeaway. He led a life as an example and he also set a standard which is unreachable. But everyone of us can live to a certain extent of it. if you ask me, why I have to live like Gandhi? maybe this five takeaways will answer your question. if not, sorry for wasting your five minutes of precious time. 1.No God is higher than Truth The first takeaway is  No God is higher than Truth.  Gandhi saw truth as a god throughout his life. Truth in the sense, it is not something which we saw in words. It is being true in all aspects of life, even through thoughts. Ultimately, we should be true to our self. Gandh...
